The clients sought a lush outdoor entertaining area as a seamless addition to their family home. Bi-fold doors open out from the living room to an expansive outdoor living space crafted from solid bricks and render that is complete with an outdoor kitchen, polished concrete floor, VELUX skylights and Ziptrak remote controlled blinds, allowing for all-weather dining. A parapet adds a touch of class to the roof addition, while Hanson Barossa polished concrete is utilised for the floor.
The outdoor kitchen features a custom-made Infresco barbeque and rangehood, made in Western Australia, Caesarstone rugged concrete bench tops, a stainless steel splashback, tapware and appliances. Crafted from brick and render, the Alforno pizza oven features a custom-made stainless steel surround and flu kit. Adjacent to the pool is a Marengo brushed stainless steel outdoor shower, including footwash. Final touches include paving, lawn, an irrigation system, and the addition of a pump room to store pool equipment. The finished result is an all-purpose outdoor entertaining space.
