Lockwood Road Norwood Living Room Renovation

Craig & Donna’s Part 2

This internal renovation project included opening up two separate living spaces to create one large open plan living space, as well as restoration works to a formal sitting room, and renovation works to all bedrooms upstairs.

A section of wall was removed to construct the open plan living room, combining two smaller spaces into a larger, light-filled space overlooking the rear garden. A fireplace feature wall was then installed, incorporating an Escea DS1650 gas fireplace. The fireplace wall was clad in a contemporary Andorra grey natural stone from Eco Outdoors, cut and hand laid in a linear format by our in-house team. Low lying timber veneer joinery with a black Dekton stone top neatly houses the home theatre system, while the 75 inch Samsung TV is wall-hung to finish the space.

Renovation works to the formal sitting room at the front of the property included a fireplace feature wall with Escea DS1650 gas fireplace. This fireplace wall was clad in jindera stone from Eco Outdoors, with each individual piece painstakingly cut using the wet saw and hand laid to resemble a dry stack Cotswolds-inspired stone wall. The fireplace wall is complemented by new floating shelves.

Additional new joinery throughout the home included shaker style built-ins, wardrobes and cupboards to three bedrooms, as well as window seats and study hubs for the children.

New ornate cornices by Heritage Plaster Products were added both upstairs and downstairs, while new feature pendant lights were sourced from Fiorentino Imports. Other cosmetic works included new ultimate comfort carpets and an interior repaint to all walls throughout the home.
